Garlic Scapes are the tender shoot that is sent from the plant to allow it to flower. To allow bulb development we cut the scape from the plant. It is a wonderful mild garlic green used in stir fries and garlic pestos. We will pack a box with at least 5 pounds of garlic scapes from our hardneck garlic plants. If kept chilled they can be used around 3 weeks. Or you can freeze them for later use or freeze your homemade garlic pesto.
