Why Grow Your Own Potatoes?
Growing potatoes is one of the most rewarding garden experiences. They are beginner-friendly, productive, and surprisingly easy to grow.
With proper soil preparation and planting techniques, potatoes can produce a generous harvest even in a relatively small garden space.
Potatoes grow best in loose, fertile soil and plenty of sunlight. Most gardeners plant them a few weeks before the last expected frost in their area.
As the plants grow, soil is gradually hilled around the stems. This helps encourage strong tuber development beneath the soil surface.

Starting with Organic Seed Potatoes
Healthy crops start with high-quality planting material.
Our organic seed potatoes are selected for strong growth and reliable harvests. Seed potatoes are simply potatoes grown specifically for planting, allowing gardeners to grow new potato plants each season.
Larger seed potatoes can be cut into smaller pieces before planting, as long as each piece contains at least one or two “eyes,” which are the buds that grow into new plants.
Because they are grown with organic practices, these potatoes align with principles similar to USDA organic growing standards, which support natural soil health and sustainable farming practices.
