Pre-Cracked Metechi Garlic

With the warmer fall weather extending the planting season, we're offering a limited supply of seed garlic cloves originally prepared for planting on our own farm!

These cloves have already been separated from their bulbs and are ready to go straight into the ground, saving you time and preparation. It's the same quality seed garlic we plant ourselves, now available for your garden while supplies last!

MARBLE PURPLE STRIPE

Hot spicy robust. Late to mature. Holds a good garlic taste after roasting. 5-7 cloves per bulb. Approx 40 cloves per pound.

PURPLE STRIPE GARLICS

A strong rich taste noted as a great roasting garlic. Noted for purple coloration and striping. This variety has tighter cloves skins which result in a longer storage time of approximately 6 months. Needs a cold spell ( vernalized) to grow into larger bulbs.  The plants grow leaves wider to the stem and form a scape with a single full curl.  Most have approximately 8-10 cloves per bulb and will yield approximately  50-60 plants per pound of seed.
